Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the Fayetteville Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), is seeking a contractor to provide a Mobile Nuclear Medicine Trailer. This initiative aims to enhance the medical services offered at the Fayetteville VAMC by ensuring access to advanced nuclear medicine capabilities.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide a mobile nuclear medicine trailer that meets the following specifications:

- The trailer must include a built-in hot lab compliant with NRC licensing/regulation requirements.
- It must have a patient wheelchair lift, waiting room/injection room, waste disposal box, and lead sharps container.
- The trailer should have a lockable entry and accept a 480V, three-phase RussellStoll power receptacle. Emergency power will not be provided by the facility.
- A backup generator must be included.
- The contractor must supply one of the following mobile nuclear medicine systems: Siemens E.cam, Philips Forte, or another comparable model with VA written approval.
- Delivery, setup, and pick-up costs are included in the contract scope. Equipment delivery is complete only when fully operational and transmitting on the VA network with clinical staff trained.
- Applications training for 2 days at no additional charge and unlimited telephone support post-setup are required. Maintenance of equipment and image quality throughout the lease term is also mandated, including all preventative/corrective maintenance and documentation as requested by the VA.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Fayetteville VA Medical Center Health Care Center located at 7300 S Raeford Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28304.
