May 2025 Consolidation - HTME with Extended Installation Services (includes Turnkey Services)   2

Background
This Request for Offers (RFO) is issued by the VA National Acquisition Center, High Tech Medical Equipment Branch, to acquire High-Tech Medical Equipment (HTME) along with extended installation services, including turnkey services. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the necessary medical equipment is supplied and installed effectively to support clinical operations within the VA healthcare system.

Work Details
Vendors are required to provide proposals that include both the HTME and associated extended installation services. The extended installation may involve connecting with existing utilities, furnishing and installing support structures for the equipment, shielding, and other minor items necessary for routine clinical use of radiology and imaging systems. The turnkey installation must consist of comprehensive support including site preparation work, non-standard/special rigging, transporting, and installing the radiology and imaging systems. Specific requirements include:

- Extended Installation: Connecting with existing utilities; furnishing and installing support structures; ensuring routine clinical use of radiology systems.
- Turnkey Installation: Complete support to develop drawings/plans; site preparation work; transporting and installing systems; documentation for fully operational systems.

- Vendors must provide a Work Statement detailing the scope of work, materials utilized, room drawings, and total cost statements in compliance with Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) 50-division format.

Period of Performance
The goal to award delivery is set for April 7, 2026.

Place of Performance
The performance will occur at various VA healthcare facilities as specified in the Schedule of Requirements.
