VISN 9 has an ongoing program to furnish prosthetic limbs, orthotic devices, and related services to those Veterans who require artificial limbs and are eligible for assistance. The VAMC facilities are located in Nashville, TN; Murfreesboro, TN; Memphis, TN; Mountain Home, TN; Lexington, KY; and Louisville, KY. Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking vendors to provide prosthetic and orthotic goods and services within the VISN 9 region. The VA aims to establish multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) with preferred providers on a competitive basis. The agreement is intended to reduce administrative costs for acquiring supplies and services.

Work Details
The vendor is required to fabricate prosthetic/orthotic devices in strict conformance to the prescription provided by the VA clinician and/or VA Amputee Clinic Team. The agreement covers education and training requirements, compliance with VA prescription and coding of prosthetic orthotic devices/components, patient education and acceptance, outcome monitoring and utilization, semi-annual service, warranty, contractor facility locations, and other special requirements.

The agreement also includes BPA administration data, price schedule, service areas, statement of work (SOW), contract clauses, and ordering procedures.

Period of Performance
The BPAs shall be for a ten-year period with a total overall maximum orders for supplies or services that may be acquired for each BPA set at $7,500,000.00.

Place of Performance
The participating VA facilities located in Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 9 region including Tennessee Valley Healthcare System, Lt. Col. Luke Weathers, Jr. VA Medical Center, Robley Rex VA Medical Center, James H. Quillen VA Medical Center, and Lexington VA Health Care System.
