This initiative aims to standardize products to reduce costs while ensuring quality for male veterans suffering from erectile dysfunction. The contract is intended to provide an uninterrupted supply of these devices, which are essential for maintaining intimacy among veterans.

Work Details
The contract encompasses the provision of both manual and automatic Vacuum Erectile Devices (VEDs) with specific Minimum Technical Requirements (MTRs):

**Manual VEDs:**
1. FDA approved, easy to use manually operated device including:
- Pump
- Loading cone
- Latex-free silicone rings/bands
- Hypoallergenic lubricant
- Carrying/storage accessory
- Instruction manual in English
- Access to visual video instructions
- Toll-free customer service number available Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 8:00 pm ET
- One-year warranty
2. Replacement accessories options include oversized cylinder and replacement rings.

**Automatic VEDs:**
1. FDA approved, easy to use automatic device with batteries including:
- Pump
- Loading cone
- Latex-free silicone rings/bands
- Hypoallergenic lubricant
- Carrying/storage accessory
- Instruction manual in English
- Access to visual video instructions
- Toll-free customer service number available Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 8:00 pm ET
- One-year warranty
2. Replacement accessories options include oversized cylinder and replacement rings.
Note: All components, except the pump, instructional DVD, and manual, shall be interchangeable between Battery Operated VED and Manual VED systems.

Period of Performance
The contract has a one-year base period with four additional one-year option periods.

Place of Performance
Products will be delivered to various VA medical facilities across the United States.
