Tissue Tex Embedding Console System

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the Tissue Tex Embedding Console System to support the Huntington VA Medical Center. The goal of this contract is to procure a brand name or equal product that meets specific technical requirements for medical and surgical instruments, enhancing the capabilities of the facility in providing care.

Work Details
The contract includes the following items:

1. **Tissue Tek TEC 6 Tissue Embedding Console System**
- Quantity: 1 EA

2. **Tissue Tek 6 lens**
- Quantity: 1 EA

**Salient Characteristics:**
- Left and right thermal chambers holding 1.5 liters of molten paraffin or up to 150 cassettes.
- Thermal chamber with flow rate control knob and paraffin dispenser, including attached forceps warmers.
- Hot and cool plates accommodating up to 20 cassettes.
- Cryo plate allowing up to 60 block capacity, configurable for right or left-handed use.
- Total paraffin capacity of 4 liters.
- Adjustable automatic timer for heating/cooling components.
- Five-level adjustable white LED lighting.
- Magnifying glass included.
- Vendor must provide installation support, staff training on operation, quality control, maintenance, troubleshooting, and a one-year warranty post-installation.
