Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking sources capable of providing a Patient Vest Airway Clearance System and components to meet the needs of multiple VA San Diego Medical Center.

This initiative aims to enhance patient care through advanced airway clearance technology.

Work Details
The contract involves supplying the following brand name products:
- HILLROM VEST SYSTEM / #P205CAP
- HILLROM VEST GARMENT / #P300631000
- HILLROM VEST GARMENT / #P300632000

The required system must meet the following salient characteristics:
- Must have a remote control to allow patients to stop therapy quickly.
- Must have single-patient use disposable patient wraps.
- Must have a pause feature for patient rest and/or coughing.
- Must have a digital display screen and push-button access.
- Must have an adjustable height for user comfort.
- Must have single-use disposable hoses for infection control purposes.
- Must have program options to individualize patient care.
- Must offer multiple adult patient size options.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate their capability to meet the DRAFT/SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS/SOW requirements, including providing information on their business size status (e.g., SDVOSB, VOSB, HUBZone, WOSB), compliance with the Non-Manufacturer rule, and adherence to Buy American Act requirements regarding country of origin and domestic content.
