Scope The Cheyenne VA Medical Center (VAMC) intends to award a Fixed Priced contract for: (6) Sterile 2D DataMatrix Barcode Readers. Brand Name or Equivalent: Line Item Description Unit Quantity 0001 NuTrace R+ 2D Data-Matrix Barcode Reader Each 06 Salient Characteristics Shall offer a tabletop hands-free/button-free scanner capable of scanning of 2 dimension Datamatrix. Shall offer a scanner capable of scanning as small as 700 microns 0.7 x 0.7 mm. Shall offer a scanner with a stainless-steel body and large reading glass lens capable of being easily cleaned and disinfected when necessary. Shall offer a capability of scanning and/or act as a camera to view instruments. Security Requirements The Contractor shall comply with the VA Personal Identity Verification procedures identified in the contract that implement Homeland Security Directive-12 (HSPD-12), Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Guidance M-05-24, and Federal Information Processing Standards Publication (FIPS PUB) Number 201. Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE)/Government-Furnished Information (GFI) None. Other Pertinent Information or Special Considerations Contractor shall follow the below guidelines for their work schedule except by prior arrangement approved by the COR or CO.
