Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 15, is seeking to procure equipment for the John Cochran VA Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

The VA Saint Louis Health Care System aims to enhance medication safety and efficiency through the acquisition of the Codonics Safe Label System (SLS).

Work Details
The contract involves providing the Codonics Safe Label System (SLS), which integrates with anesthesia drug carts to electronically identify drugs, offers electronic medication safety checks, captures the exact NDC of parenteral vials, and provides visual and audible confirmations.

The system reduces drug errors during injectable and intravenous medication administration in the OR. Vendors must supply all equipment, accessories, installation services, and project management support. Software must be supported by the original manufacturer with unlimited perpetual licensing.

Installation includes unboxing, transportation, implementation, and testing within 30 days of delivery. Training for clinical staff and Biomedical Engineering staff is required. Warranty covers all parts and labor for at least one year post-acceptance.

Installation and assembly must occur within 30 days of delivery to station.
