Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 21 will be issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) to provide Dental Prostheses at the VA Medical Center San Francisco, San Francisco, CA. Please refer to the solicitation for a summary of the items requested and any additional procurement details. A Request for Quote using the following NAICS is contemplated: 339116 THIS RFQ SHALL BE FULL AND OPEN AFTER EXCLUSION OF SOURCES TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. Solicitation documents will be available on or about December 22, 2022. The solicitation will contain quote instructions. Background
This is a solicitation for San Francisco Dental Prostheses. The contract is issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21, for the VA Northern California HealthCare System. The contract is a 5-year IDIQ with 1-year ordering periods.

Work Details
The contractor is required to perform laboratory procedures for dental patients, including fabrication of complete dentures, removable partial dentures, fixed partial dentures and crowns, dental implant restorations, bleaching trays, surgical stents, mouth guards, and sleep apnea appliances. The contractor must also comply with federal laws, regulations, standards, and VA Directives and Handbooks. The contractor's lab must be certified by the National Association of Dental Laboratories and comply with FDA Quality System/Good Manufacturing Practices. The contractor must also notify the VA of any proposed changes in subcontracted dental laboratories used.

Period of Performance
The Period of Performance (PoP) is to be determined.

Place of Performance
The Contractor shall perform all laboratory work at their facility. Lab cases will be shipped to and from the SFVAHCS San Francisco Dental Service and VA Santa Rosa CBOC dental clinic.
