Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO20 is looking for BRAND NAME or EQUAL sources of the following: Robotic Surgery Arms- Brand Name or Equal Aesculap mechanical holding arm Qty: 1 & Walter Lorenz surgical assist arm QTY: 2. Salient Characteristics: Need a flexible holding device with mechanical fixation that attached to a bed mount via an integrated fixation bar. This will allow the surgeon to position hand tools and retractors, minimizing the staff necessary for hold hand tools and retractors The total length of the arm is minimum of 107cm. Fixation bar is a maximum 46cm long, with a maximum diameter of 20mm. The total weight is 0.7KG with a holding force of 4kg. Must provide constant position without drift or continuous needs for recalibration for the duration of the surgical procedure Battery life shall be no less than 8 hours. Unit shall operate continuously when operating on 120V wall power. Unit must have visual indication of battery life. Cable to recharge battery must be included in purchase Must be compatible for all surgery types Must have 7 degrees of freedom, and have full range of motion in all directions Must have interchangeable distal arms Distal Arms must have multiple length options. Must have rotatable surgical table rail clamp compatible with Trumpf Trusystem 7000 surgical tables Arm must be able to hold surgical instruments and retractors. Needs to be capable of unlocking with a single button push. Unit shall have a positionable, disposable button to unlock the end effector Unit must be able to be repositioned with the use of one hand. Must provide instrumentation, drapes, sterilization trays needed for operation at the Portland VA. All instrumentation must have the ability to be sterilized Must be new equipment only and all items must be covered by manufacturer s warranty.
