RFQ - Brand Name Genesis RIGID STERILIZATION CONTAINERS

Background
The Brooklyn VA Medical Center Sterile Processing Service (SPS) is requiring the brand name purchase of Genesis rigid sterilization containers and baskets needed to sterilize surgical instruments and decrease the potential for surgery cancellations due to holes in wrapped instrument trays. In addition, utilizing the containers will save on costs associated with the disposable wraps. Used or refurbished equipment is unacceptable.

Work Details
The contract requires the brand name purchase of Genesis rigid sterilization containers and baskets to sterilize surgical instruments and reduce surgery cancellations due to holes in wrapped trays. The specific products needed are: 2 units of CD3-5C-Green Genesis Container Full-Length Solid Bottom - Green (23x12x5 inches), 8 units of BP4-4A Genesis Small Endo Basket Perforated 4 inches deep (18.5x6x4 inches), 10 units of CD7-5B Genesis XL Container 4.25 inches deep, 10 units of BP7-3A Genesis XL Basket 2.5 inches deep, 9 units of CD7-9B-Purple Genesis XL Container – Purple 7.2 inches deep, and 9 units of BP7-4A Genesis XL Basket 3.5 inches deep. The products must be compatible with Steris AMSCO Model 60H steam sterilizers currently in use at the facility.

Period of Performance
All supplies must be delivered within thirty (30) days following the contract award unless delayed by unforeseen circumstances.
