Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to procure powered mobility stretchers to enhance the healthcare services provided at their facilities. This contract aims to ensure that the VA has access to high-quality, reliable mobility equipment that meets the specific needs of their patients and healthcare staff. The acquisition is set aside for small businesses, emphasizing the VA's commitment to supporting small business participation in government contracting.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide 12 units of the Dynamo Series Stretcher (Hill-Rom) or an equivalent US-made product. The stretchers must meet the following specifications:

- Head-Of-Bed Angle Display

- 6 Transport Strap Locations
- Full Trend and Reverse Trend capabilities
- 4-Corner Brake and Steer features
- 2 Foldable Transport Handles
- 8" Tente Carpet Casters
- Pneumatic Head & Knee Section.

A standard two-year warranty is required for all units. Equivalent products must meet all standard features and characteristics outlined in the Statement of Work.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract will be established upon award.

Place of Performance
The delivery location for the mobility stretchers will be at the North Texas Healthcare System located at 124 E. Hwy 67, Suite 100, Duncanville TX 75137.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be authorized distributors or manufacturers of the specified products. All end items must be manufactured or assembled in the United States. Additionally, bidders are required to comply with privacy standards as set forth by HIPAA when servicing medical equipment.
