Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System is seeking to procure Patient Ceiling Lifts for use in the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center and the Sergeant Ernest I. 'Boots' Thomas VA Clinic.

The goal of this contract is to enhance patient care by providing safe and efficient lifting and transportation solutions for patients in acute care settings.

Work Details
The contract involves the delivery and installation of a total of 251 Patient Ceiling Lifts, which includes 235 standard lifts and 16 bariatric lifts.

The lifts must be compatible with existing Handicare tracks and anchors, with only 20 additional lifts requiring tracks and anchors. Key specifications include:
- Bariatric lifts with a maximum workload capability of 1000 lbs.
- Standard lifts capable of handling up to 625 lbs.
- An IP rating of IP22.
- A lifting range of up to 96 inches.
- Maximum sound levels during operation not exceeding 56.1 dB for raising and 60.3 dB for lowering.
- A service life of at least 22,500 cycles or 10 years.
- Ability to perform 30 to 40 lifts at maximum load.
- Pneumatic hand control for operation, digital display for monitoring, emergency stop features, and powered by lithium-ion batteries with quick charge capabilities.

Installation services are required within fifteen business days post-delivery, including deinstallation of existing ceiling lifts.

Period of Performance
Delivery must occur no later than thirty days from the date of award.
