Description

The Oklahoma City VA Healthcare System is seeking sources for two (2) surgical chairs to be used by surgeons in the operating room. These chairs have the following requirements: Chair specifically designed for Ophthalmic Surgery Molded seat and backrest frame Low contoured seat height Direct locking anti-swivel casters Designed for free movement of feet for moving chair while seated Ergonomic (promotes better posture and comfort with both vertical and horizontal lumbar support) Adjustable backrest depth, height range and backrest height hydraulic height adjustment (18.75"-28.25"), tri-leg design with 3" smooth roll castors, rear wheel locking, contoured backrest with lumbar support fully adjustable up/down and in/out, waterfall edge on seat for sciatic nerve relief, ergonomic pedals for height up/down and floor locking, numeric marking for all adjustments weight limit 300lbs An example of this chair is the Haag-Streit 900, other makes and models will receive consideration. Background
The Oklahoma City VA Healthcare System is seeking sources for surgical chairs specifically designed for use in ophthalmic surgery. The goal of this contract is to procure two surgical chairs that meet specific ergonomic and functional requirements to enhance the comfort and efficiency of surgeons during operations.

Work Details
The contract requires the delivery of two surgical chairs with the following specifications:
- Specifically designed for Ophthalmic Surgery
- Molded seat and backrest frame
- Low contoured seat height
- Direct locking anti-swivel casters
- Designed for free movement of feet while seated
- Ergonomic design promoting better posture with both vertical and horizontal lumbar support
- Adjustable backrest depth, height range, and hydraulic height adjustment (18.75" - 28.25")
- Tri-leg design with 3" smooth roll casters and rear wheel locking
- Contoured backrest with fully adjustable lumbar support (up/down and in/out)
- Waterfall edge on seat for sciatic nerve relief
