Solicitation Number: 36C10G22Q0134 Notice Type: Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Synopsis: COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for brand name or equal commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 36C10G22Q0134 is issued for this combined synopsis/solicitation; this solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This combined synopsis/solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2022-06, dated 26 May 2022. Requirement Description: The US Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Equipment Life Cycle Management (ELCM) Program identified Examination Tables as a candidate for a VA-wide (otherwise referred to as national ) single award Requirements contract. Examination Tables designed to facilitate patient examination and/or treatment while the patient is lying on the table. All tables have a padded top surface covered with dirt- and stain-resistant material (e.g., vinyl) to facilitate cleaning and decontamination and to increase the useful life of the table with some varieties having a removable padded top for easy cleaning. These tables usually have leg extensions, and lots of storage drawers and cabinets in the base. Tables feature easy patient positioning, spring assisted back rests, and hide-away stirrups that lock into multiple positions. Examination tables may allow height and/or position (e.g., tilt) adjustments; they may also include leg extensions, casters, and other accessories (e.g., stirrups, paper rolls, storage drawers). Dedicated tables intended for specific examinations and/or treatments (e.g., gynecologic, proctologic, urological, orthopedic) are available. These tables must be available in manual or powered models. The proposed acquisition is for a Requirements Contract with Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) orders IAW FAR 16.503, Requirements Contract. The type of Examination Tables required for this program have been identified as most advantageous to the Government to be incorporated into a national Requirements Contract. The salient characteristics (SC) for these commercial items are identified in the NX EQ Examination Tables Product Description. A single award Requirements contract will be awarded IAW FAR 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, specifications, and schedule of this solicitation herein. Quotes shall contain the terms for cost/price and technical capabilities of the brand name or equal equipment. The Government reserves the right to award without discussions. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339112 Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing: 6515 Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment, and Supplies and the associated size standard is 1,000 employees. This procurement action is issued as full and open competition. SCHEDULE. The ordering period is for one 12-month base year with four 12-month option years. Delivery is FOB destination. Firm-Fixed Price Orders will be placed against this contract in writing and will provide the delivery locations, delivery dates and exact quantities.
