Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to purchase a NuTrace Laser (NUX20 NG) and five NuTrace R+ Scanners or equal products that meet specific salient characteristics. The purpose of this acquisition is to replace the current chemical etcher at the Boise VA Medical Center with a laser marker, which will improve the tracking process for medical instruments.

Work Details
The contract includes the supply of one NuTrace Laser NUX20 NG or equal item, five NuTrace R+ Scanners or equal items, training & installation, laser etching services for 25,000 instruments, and PM service in accordance with the Statement of Work. The equipment must meet specific salient characteristics outlined in the solicitation. The delivery schedule requires F.O.B. Destination with a 30-day delivery period after placing the order.

Period of Performance
The contract period includes a base period from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024, with option years for 2025 and 2026.

Place of Performance
The place of delivery is the Boise VA Medical Center at 500 W Fort St, Boise, ID 83702.
