MRI Infusion Pumps   2

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the Richmond VA Medical Center (RICVAMC), requires MRI-compatible infusion pumps to deliver continuous intravenous (IV) medications to high-acuity patients during MRI procedures. The goal of this contract is to ensure patient safety and compliance with Joint Commission and Institute for Safe Medication Practices (ISMP) guidelines by providing infusion pumps designed for use in MRI environments.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide new MRI-compatible infusion pump systems, including all necessary accessories, installation, training, documentation, warranty, and technical support. The specific products required include:

Technical requirements include MRI compatibility up to a 10,000-gauss line on 3T systems, infusion accuracy per IEC standards, and remote operation capability from the MRI control room.

Base Period of Performance begins on May 15, 2026 and ends on May 14, 2027.
