Background
James A. Haley Veterans Hospital (JAHVH) Mental Health and Domiciliary has executed a new lease/build that will consolidate and expand the mental health and domiciliary clinic, 8541 Temple Terrace Highway, Tampa, Florida 33637, has a requirement for portable ultrasound. The portable ultrasound machine will be used for patients during examination.

Work Details
The portable ultrasound machines can be used to diagnose pain, swelling, and infection inside the body, to guide biopsies, to examine the heart, ability to do cardiac, lung and abdominal imaging. This portable ultrasound helps in improving patient care for the Tampa Mental Health and Domiciliary clinic. The JAHVH Tampa Mental Health and Domiciliary Clinic is requesting for portable ultrasound to be installed in the clinic. Equipment must have the physical characteristics to enable the government to perform the capabilities: Portable Ultrasound – Echonous Kosmos. The device must include AI-guided labeling of key cardiac structures for parasternal/apical cardiac views and the apical 4 chamber subcostal view in real-time. The device must use AI algorithms to provide real-time guidance on positioning and orienting the probe to acquire cardiac ultrasound views. The device must use AI algorithms to provide real-time assessment of the quality of the cardiac images acquired.
