Karl Storz Upgrade Equipme for Operating Rooms and Ear Nose & Throat Clinics and Integration 4K Technology.

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Orlando VA Health Care System, Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8), intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, with Karl Storz Endoscopy-America, Inc., 2151 E. Grand Avenue, El Segundo, CA 90245-5017. This requirement includes new equipment upgrades for twelve (12) Operating rooms and six (6) Ear Nose and Throat Clinics for Karl Storz Brand Name Only. This Karl Storz equipment must work and be compatible with already existing Karl Storz equipment, contain the same user interface, have the same functionality as the current equipment and the equipment must be IP based with 4K technology. There are no set-aside restrictions for this requirement. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 339112 Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than February 1, 2022, 12PM, Eastern Time.
