Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to procure 19 Interacoustics Titan V4 Tympanometers with additional necessary add-ons, installation, configuration, and training by an authorized distributor, and service for use at various medical facilities.

Work Details
The Minneapolis VA Medical Center has a need to buy 19 Interacoustics Titan V4 Tympanometers (Model 8016195), along with Interacoustics Titan DPOAE add-ons with 266hz tympanometry (Model 8121646), IA eartip kits (Model TS291), DO-180 Adult Foam Tip packs (Model W90247). The equipment is required for use at the main hospital, Maplewood CBOC, Twin Ports CBOC, Northwest Metro CBOC, and the Whipple Building. The unique characteristics that limit availability to only one source include the need for a unit that can perform both Tympanometry and DPOAE eliminating the need for multiple pieces of equipment. The Interacoustics Titan V4 Tympanometers with DPAOE add-on is the only unit available that meets these needs. Market research was conducted to confirm these statements including direct conversations with the OEM regarding verification of authorized distributors as possible sources.
