Background
The solicitation is issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Department of Defense (DOD) for the acquisition of pharmaceutical products through their respective Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor (PPV) Programs. Work Details
The contract is for the supply of Insulin Syringes. Offerors are required to submit prices for all line items and include a 0.5% Cost Recovery Fee as outlined in the Scope of Contract. Additionally, offerors must provide an eleven-digit National Drug Code (NDC) Number or twelve-digit Universal Product Code (UPC) unique to the offeror for each item offered. Samples of each line item must also be submitted with the offer.

Period of Performance
The contract effective date will be determined at the time of contract award. The Implementation Period will begin on the Contract Effective Date and end at the start of the Ordering Period. The base year Ordering Period will be in effect for one year.

Place of Performance
Products will be ordered by VA through Government Prime Vendor contracts, and delivery order requirements such as product quantities, time and place of delivery, and method of delivery will be determined between the awarded contractor(s) and Government Prime Vendor contractors.
