To: All Interested Parties The Department of Veteran s Affairs, Veteran s Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 7 is hosting an Industry Day for an upcoming requirement located in Augusta GA. The Charlie Norwood Veteran Administration Health Care System is in Augusta, Georgia. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision and all other resources required to deliver the requirements stated herein, except as may otherwise be specified in this statement of work. The medical center is looking for two requirements. The first requirement is the replacement of non-integrated low air loss, pressure redistribution, and microclimate management therapy surfaces that prevent and/or treat pressure injuries. The therapy surface must fit the medical centers current flat deck bed frame (size 35.25 width and 84 length) at the Downtown Division. The therapy surfaces must have a maximum weight capacity of 500 pounds. The second requirement is the replacement of bed frames and therapy surfaces to an integrated low air loss, pressure redistribution, and microclimate management therapy surfaces that prevent and/or treat pressure injuries at the Uptown Division. The bed frame and therapy surfaces must have a maximum weight capacity of 500 pounds. The bed frame must have the capability of supporting an integrated therapy surface and includes an integrated foot extender, integrated three mode-bed exit alarm, integration of nurse call, integrated continuous monitoring of Heart Rate and Respiratory Rate, verbal safety alerts and visual alerts for patient safety. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System code is 339112, Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing respectively. This is 100% SDVOSB The basic contract is anticipated as a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract. A draft Statement of Work for bed frames and therapy surfaces are included in this notice. Industry Day Date: March 24, 2021 Time: 8:00 am 4:30 pm Eastern Standard Time Location: Charlie Norwood Medical Center; Gymnatorium, Room 2A-135, located on the 2nd Floor, Bldg. 110. 1 Freedom Way Augusta, Georgia 30904 Participants will meet and deliver equipment to the Warehouse, Bldg. 111, 1 Freedom Way, Augusta, GA 30904. Due to COVID 19, all vendors must wear a face covering and be screened upon entry to the medical center.
