SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE InBody 380 Body Composition Analyzer 1. PURPOSE This Sources Sought Notice is issued solely for market research and information-gathering purposes. It does not constitute a solicitation, commitment, or authorization to procure any supplies or services. The Government is seeking to identify qualified and capable vendors that can provide the InBody 380 Body Composition Analyzer or an equal product that meets all salient characteristics listed below. 2. BACKGROUND The Government has a requirement for a professional-grade body composition analyzer for use in clinical, wellness, or research environments. The device must provide accurate, quick, and noninvasive assessment of body composition metrics used in patient evaluation and treatment planning. 3. REQUIRED ITEM Brand Name: InBody 380 Body Composition Analyzer OR EQUAL: Vendors may offer an equivalent product, provided the item meets or exceeds all salient characteristics included in Section 4. 4. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS (Minimum Requirements) Any offered product must meet all of the following: Measurement Technology Utilizes Direct Segmental Multi Frequency Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (DSM BIA) Employs multiple frequencies for increased accuracy Provides non invasive, rapid testing without the use of empirical estimation formulas Measurement Parameters (minimum required) Weight Skeletal Muscle Mass Body Fat Mass Percent Body Fat Body Mass Index (BMI) Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) Total Body Water, Intracellular Water, and Extracellular Water Segmental Lean Analysis (right arm, left arm, trunk, right leg, left leg) Segmental Fat Analysis Visceral Fat or comparable abdominal fat assessment Impedance values at multiple frequencies for each segment Operational Requirements Test duration: 90 seconds or less User-friendly interface with onboard screen Ability to output full results sheet to printer or computer Ability to store or export data through USB, Bluetooth, or software interface Weight capacity: Minimum 330 lb. (150 kg) Accuracy suitable for clinical or research use Powered by standard AC adapter Physical & Durability Requirements Stable platform with integrated hand electrodes Compact, portable, and appropriate for clinical environments Minimum 1 year manufacturer warranty Standards & Compliance FDA registered or compliant medical device Must comply with all applicable electrical and safety standards 5.
