Per the authorities cited above, the Contracting Officer may award a sole source contract per 38 U.S.C. 8127(c) if he/she has identified a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) capable of providing the products and/or services at fair and reasonable prices, and is in the best interest of the government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Responses will be considered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
