Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VHA Regional Procurement Office Central, Great Lakes Acquisition Center, Network Contracting Office 12, located at 115 S. 84th Street, Suite 101, Milwaukee, WI 53214-1476, hereby announces its intent to award a sole source, firm-fixed-price purchase order to Biosense Webster, Inc., located at 31 Technology Drive, Suite 200, Irvine, CA 92618-2302. This procurement is for the purchase of Varipulse Catheters and Varipulse Treatment Interface Cables. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 339113, Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing. The Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center, located at 5000 W. National Avenue, Milwaukee, WI, 53295-0001, requires electrophysiology (EP) catheters for use with the Biosense Webster CARTO 3 System, which is already in use at the medical center. The CARTO 3 System integrates with the Varipulse platform, a Pulsed Field Ablation (PFA) platform, enhancing procedural efficiency and safety in comprehensive atrial fibrillation (AF) treatment. While the Government will review all responses, the final decision to engage in a competitive process remains solely at the Government's discretion.
