The requirement is for (10) Clinton Reclining Power Adjustment Phlebotomy chairs, Clinton Industries model #6810. Phlebotomy chairs are a required piece of equipment for blood drawing. Due to the nature of the procedure, it s necessary for the chair to recline when there is a risk of fainting. The facility s primary goal is to maintain high quality care, standardize and improve safety. The Contractor is responsible for the delivery of the equipment. Please note delivery will be to seven (7) locations in Vermont.

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this contract to procure ten (10) Clinton Industries model #6810 Phlebotomy chairs. These chairs are essential for blood drawing procedures, particularly to ensure patient safety during instances of fainting. The contract requires the delivery of ten (10) new Clinton Industries model #6810 Phlebotomy Chairs with the following specifications:

- Self-leveling arms and synchronized footrest
- Power supplies and motors compliant with UL 60601-1 and CAN/CSA C22.2 601.1
- Rated at 5 amps at 120 VAC
- Hand controller included
- All-welded, steel frame with neutral gray powder coating
- Padded seat, backrest, armrests, and footrest
- Armrests that flip up for easy access
- Adjustable foot levelers
- Easy-clean, durable, stain-resistant vinyl in DESERT TAN color
- Load capacity: 375 lbs (170 kg)

2. Burlington Lakeside VA Clinic - Quantity: 2

5. Keene VA Clinic - Quantity: 1
6. Newport VA Clinic - Quantity: 1
7. Rutland VA Clinic - Quantity: 1

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from September 6, 2024, to January 5, 2025.
