Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the Lebanon VA Medical Center (VAMC), requires a reliable source of blood products and services for patient treatment. This contract aims to ensure that all products are suitable for human administration and that testing results are integrated into patient care based on clinical needs.

The contract is structured as a five-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) agreement, with the goal of maintaining high standards in blood product supply and service delivery.

Work Details
The contractor will provide various blood products and related services as detailed below:

1. Blood Product - Leukoreduced Allogeneic Red Blood Cells: 400 units
2. Blood Product - Leukoreduced Acrodose Platelets: 90 units
3. Blood Product - Leukoreduced Apheresis Platelets: 85 units
4. Blood Product - FFP: 30 units
5. Blood Product - Pooled Cryoprecipitate: 1 unit
6. Blood Product - Autologous Red Blood Cells: 1 unit
7. Blood Product - Directed Donation Red Blood Cells: 1 unit
8. Services - Antigen Typing of Red Blood Cell Units (Per Antigen): 75 units
9. Services - Washed Red Blood Cell Units: 1 unit
10. Services - Irradiation of all blood and blood components: 15 units
11. Services - Sickle Cell Negative Units: 20 units
12. Services - CMV Negative Units: 1 unit
13. Services - HLA Typing (Pass Through Fee): 1 unit
14. Patient Reference Testing including ABO Testing, Rh Typing, Antibody Screening, etc., with various quantities specified.

The contractor must maintain compliance with standards set by the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) and FDA regulations.

Period of Performance
The contract is anticipated to be effective from April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2031.

Place of Performance
The primary location for performance will be the Lebanon VA Medical Center, located at 1700 S Lincoln Ave, Lebanon, PA.
