The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this solicitation to establish a supply source for pharmaceutical products, specifically Venlafaxine 24HR Sustained Action Capsules. The contract aims to support the VA and Department of Defense (DoD) Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor Programs, ensuring consistent availability and volume-based pricing for these medications across various federal healthcare facilities.

The contract includes the provision of Venlafaxine Hydrochloride (HCL) 24HR Sustained Action Capsules in various dosages and packaging sizes. The specific line items are as follows:

1. **Venlafaxine HCL 37.5MG 24HR SA Capsules**
- **Packaging**: 30 Capsules per Bottle
- **Quantity**: 14,995 Bottles per year for Base Year and each Option Year

2. **Venlafaxine HCL 37.5MG 24HR SA Capsules**
- **Packaging**: 90 Capsules per Bottle
- **Quantity**: 63,518 Bottles per year for Base Year and each Option Year

3. **Venlafaxine HCL 37.5MG 24HR SA Capsules**
- **Options**: Either 500 or 1000 Capsules per Bottle
- **Quantity**: 18,302 Bottles (500 count) or 9,151 Bottles (1000 count) per year for Base Year and each Option Year

4. **Venlafaxine HCL 75MG 24HR SA Capsules**
- **Packaging**: Available in both 30 and 90 Capsules per Bottle with quantities of 30,801 and 309,441 respectively for Base Year and each Option Year.

5. **Venlafaxine HCL 150MG 24HR SA Capsules**
- **Packaging**: Available in both 30 and 90 Capsules per Bottle with quantities of 39,605 and 187,591 respectively for Base Year and each Option Year.

All unit-of-use packaging must include safety caps that meet specified dimensions to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective upon the signing of the SF-1449 by the authorized representative of the VA, with an implementation period allowing a maximum of up to 60 days post-award before orders can be placed.

Place of Performance
Products will be delivered to various Department of Veterans Affairs facilities as well as other authorized users under the DoD Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor Program.
