Background: This solicitation is for the procurement of Valganciclovir HCL Tablets. The contract is being issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) through their National Acquisition Center. The purpose of this contract is to establish a supply source that will provide the drugs listed in the schedule for purchase through the VA Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor (PPV) Program. The PPV Programs are separate contracts that establish the fees for the distribution of pharmaceutical products to VA facilities and other authorized users.

Details: The specific product to be manufactured or delivered under this contract is Valganciclovir HCL Tablets. The tablets are to be supplied in bottles, with each bottle containing 60 tablets. The tablets have a strength of 450mg. The National Drug Code (NDC) number and Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) number for each offered drug must be provided by the offeror. The quantities required for each year of the contract are as follows: Base Year - 8,045 bottles, Option Year One - 8,045 bottles, Option Year Two - 8,045 bottles, Option Year Three - 8,045 bottles, Option Year Four - 8,045 bottles.

Period of Performance: The period of performance for this contract is from the contract effective date until the end of the fourth option year.

Place of Performance: The place of performance for this contract is at various VA facilities and other authorized users nationwide.
