Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to establish a national contract for the Respiratory Syncytial Virus Vaccine (RSV Vaccine) to ensure availability and consistency of product for nationwide usage. The contract aims to provide drugs through the VA and Department of Defense (DoD) Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor Programs, which are designed to streamline the acquisition of pharmaceutical products. The objective is to obtain volume-based, committed-use pricing while adhering to the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA).

Work Details
The contract will cover the following items related to the RSV Vaccine:
- **Line Item 1: Respiratory Syncytial Virus Vaccine**
- **Quantity:** 248,803 kits/syringes/vials for each year (Base Year and Option Years 1-4)
- **Unit Price:** To be determined by offerors
- **Total Amount:** To be calculated based on unit price
- **Carton/Package Price:** To be calculated based on unit price x number of units per carton/package.

- Offerors must submit a unique 11-digit National Drug Code (NDC) number for each drug offered. The RSV Vaccine will be a mandatory source unless clinically inappropriate for certain patients. All presentations and package sizes must be proposed at the same price per dose, including a Cost Recovery Fee of 0.5%.

Period of Performance
The contract will have an implementation period beginning on the Contract Effective Date and ending at the start of the Ordering Period, which includes a Base Year and four Option Years.

Place of Performance
Products will be delivered to various Department of Veterans Affairs facilities and Department of Defense locations as part of their Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor Programs.
