Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing a solicitation for radiopharmaceuticals to support the Portland VA Medical Center's nuclear medicine patients. The goal of this contract is to ensure the availability of necessary imaging pharmaceuticals that are critical for patient care in nuclear medicine. Work Details
The contract will cover the supply of radiopharmaceuticals, which are used as imaging pharmaceuticals administered via IV injection or orally by Nuclear Medicine Technologists prior to nuclear medicine studies. The contractor will be required to deliver supplies as ordered, with specific requirements including:
- Orders must be placed by 4:00 PM the previous day for delivery by 7:30 AM the following day.
- Stat orders must be delivered on the same day they are ordered.
- The contractor must be available for order placement and delivery 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, including emergency orders after normal working hours and during federal holidays.
- The contract is structured as a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with five ordering periods from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2030.
