Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this solicitation for the procurement of radiopharmaceuticals for nuclear medicine patients at the Portland VA Medical Center. The goal of this contract is to ensure the availability of necessary imaging pharmaceuticals that are critical for patient care in nuclear medicine. This contract will be awarded as a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, allowing for flexibility in ordering based on patient needs.

Work Details
The contractor will provide radiopharmaceuticals used as imaging pharmaceuticals, which are administered either by IV injection or orally by a Nuclear Medicine Technologist prior to nuclear medicine studies. Supplies will be ordered as required, with orders placed directly by the Radiology/Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Key details include:

- Orders must be placed by 4:00 PM the previous day for delivery by 7:30 AM the following day.
- Stat orders must be delivered on the same day they are ordered.
- Contractor availability is required 24/7, including after-hours and emergency orders.
- Deliveries must include two identical self-adhesive labels for tracking.
- Turnaround time for leukocyte labeling is a maximum of three hours from blood pick-up to delivery.
- The contractor must provide two copies of shipping invoices with each delivery to the Nuclear Medicine Department located in Building 100, 2nd Floor, Room 2D159 at the Portland VA Medical Center.
