Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Department of Defense (DOD) acquire pharmaceutical requirements through their respective Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor (PPV) Programs. The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a supply source that will provide drugs listed in the schedule for purchase through the PPV Programs. The total annual estimated usage for VA, Federal Health Care Center (FHCC), State Veterans Homes - Option 2 (SVH), DOD, Indian Health Service (IHS), and Bureau of Prisons (BOP) appears on the Schedule of Supplies section of this Solicitation.

Work Details
The contract is for the supply of Prazosin HCL Capsules in various quantities and package sizes. The offerors must submit a price for all line items offered, inclusive of the base year and all option years. Offered prices must include a 0.50% Cost Recovery Fee.
Offerors are required to meet packaging requirements as outlined in Scope of Contract paragraph 5. Additionally, offerors must provide a separate and distinct eleven-digit National Drug Code (NDC) Number unique to the offeror for each item offered.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective on the date the VA signs the SF1449 and notifies the offeror (contractor) of award. The Implementation Period will be allowed a maximum of 60 days if the contract is awarded after December 20, 2022, and will end on February 18, 2023 if awarded prior to that date. The base year Ordering Period will be in effect for one year.

Place of Performance
Products will be ordered by VA through Government Prime Vendor contracts, and delivery order requirements such as product quantities, time and place of delivery, and method of delivery will be determined between the awarded contractor(s) and Government Prime Vendor contractors.
