Background: The contract is being issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) through their National Acquisition Center. The PPV Program is a separate contract that establishes fees for the distribution of pharmaceutical products to VA facilities.

Details: The specific product to be delivered under the contract is Oseltamivir Phosphate Capsules and Suspension. The contract will include line items for different strengths of capsules and suspension, with quantities specified for each year of the base period and four option years. The packaging requirements specify that unit of use bottles or blister packs are acceptable for the capsules, while glass bottles are acceptable for the suspension. Offerors must submit a price for all line items offered, inclusive of the base year and four option years. Prices must include a 0.5% Cost Recovery Fee.

Period of Performance: The contract will have an effective date determined at the time of contract award. There will be an implementation period following the effective date, during which PPVs will begin placing orders with the contractor for delivery to multiple PPV distribution centers. The base year ordering period will be in effect for one year, with four one-year option periods.

Place of Performance: The products will be delivered to various VA facilities, Department of Defense (DoD) facilities, Indian Health Service (IHS) facilities, Bureau of Prisons (BOP) facilities, Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center (FHCC), and Option 2 State Veteran Homes.
