Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the Network Contracting Office (NCO) 15, located in Leavenworth, Kansas, is soliciting for Blood and Blood Products and Related Services to be provided to VISN 15 Medical Centers in Kansas, Missouri, and Southern Illinois. The contract is a follow-on to VA255-16-D-0216 & 0217 with an estimated Period of Performance from 4/1/2022 to 03/31/2027. Up to eight awards will be issued off this one solicitation.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide blood and blood products for VA VISN 15 Medical Centers in Kansas, Missouri, and Southern Illinois. The estimated volume by product and test requirements are reflected in the attached VISN 15 data sheet for each individual medical center.

The contract will be an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract for five years with delivery orders issued every year contingent on funding availability. The total minimum guaranteed amount for supplies and services that will be acquired under the resulting contract(s) is $2,000.00 per contract with a total maximum order of $13,000,000.00. The contractor will also provide ancillary support service for blood bank testing and therapeutic apheresis services to specific medical centers.

Period of Performance
The Period of Performance for the contract is from 4/1/2022 to 03/31/2027.

Place of Performance
The products and services are to be delivered to VISN 15 Medical Centers in Kansas, Missouri, and Southern Illinois.
