Background
The Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS) is seeking to acquire radiopharmaceuticals for use in PET CT imaging. The agency's mission is to provide high-quality healthcare services to veterans. The goal of this contract is to ensure timely delivery of essential radiopharmaceuticals that are crucial for nuclear medicine procedures. The CAVHS Imaging Service plans to deploy a new imaging modality, PET CT, in late FY25, necessitating the procurement of NaF, Ammonia N13, and Posluma.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide the following radiopharmaceuticals: NaF, Ammonia N13, and Posluma for PET CT imaging. Deliveries must adhere to strict timelines: routine orders must be delivered by 6:30 a.m. the next day, while urgent or emergent requests must be fulfilled within one hour. All deliveries must comply with transporting protocols and radiation limits set by the Department of Transportation and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. The contractor must be a licensed compounding pharmacy in good standing and ensure proper identification for transporting personnel. Deliverables include:

1. Routine orders for NaF, Ammonia N13, & Posluma by 6:30 a.m.
2. Urgent requests delivered within 1 hour.
3. Compliance with FDA approval requirements for radiopharmaceuticals prior to shipment.
4. Proper sealing of containers to prevent compromise during transport.
5. Pickup of WBC scans within 1 hour and return of tagged blood within 3 hours.

Period of Performance
The base period is 12 months with four optional 12-month periods, expected to begin on September 15, 2025.
