Background
The solicitation is issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) through the National Acquisition Center. The purpose of the solicitation is to establish a supply source for pharmaceutical products listed in the schedule for purchase through the VA Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor Program and DoD Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor Program. The contract aims to ensure availability and consistency of products for nationwide usage and to obtain volume-based, committed-use pricing.

Work Details
The solicitation is for Mycophenolic Acid Tablets, Enteric-coated (EC). The tablets are to be provided in two line items: 1) Mycophenolic Acid 180mg Tablets, EC - 120 Tablets per Bottle (Unit of Use) and 2) Mycophenolic Acid 360mg Tablets, EC - 120 Tablets per Bottle (Unit of Use). Offerors are required to submit a price for the base year and all four one-year options for both line items. Prices offered shall not exceed two decimal places. Offered prices must include the Cost Recovery Fee of 0.5%. Additionally, offerors must list an 11-digit National Drug Code (NDC) number for each offered drug that is unique to the offeror's company as outlined in the scope of the contract.

Period of Performance
The contract effective date will be determined at the time of contract award. The implementation period will begin on the contract effective date and end at the start of the ordering period. The base year ordering period will be in effect for one year.

Place of Performance
Products will be ordered by VA through Government Prime Vendor contracts, and delivery order requirements such as product quantities, time and place of delivery, and method of delivery will be determined between the awarded Contractor and Government Prime Vendor contractors.
