Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to establish a contract for the supply of Levothyroxine Tablets through its Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor (PPV) Program. This program aims to ensure the availability and consistency of pharmaceutical products for nationwide usage, while obtaining volume-based pricing. The contract will facilitate the distribution of these products to various government health facilities, including VA facilities, Indian Health Service (IHS) facilities, and State Veterans Homes.

The contract includes the provision of Levothyroxine NA Tablets in various dosages, packaged either in blister packs or bottles. The specific line items and quantities required are as follows:

6. Levothyroxine NA 175MCG TAB - 78,193 units per year

8. Levothyroxine NA 25MCG TAB - 184,129 units per year
9. Levothyroxine NA 300MCG TAB - 3,648 units per year

Each unit must be packaged with a safety cap and meet specific labeling requirements including dimensions for barcodes and expiration dates.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a base ordering period of one year with four additional one-year option periods.
