Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to establish a supply source for Hydralazine Hydrochloride (HCL) injections through its Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor (PPV) Program. This program aims to ensure the availability and consistency of pharmaceutical products for nationwide use, while also obtaining volume-based pricing. The contract resulting from this solicitation will set the national contract prices for the listed products, which will be distributed through the PPV Program. The contractor must comply with the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA).

Work Details
The contract involves the delivery of Hydralazine HCL 20mg/mL injections in 1 mL vials. The estimated quantities are as follows:
- Base Year: 82,630 vials
- Option Year One: 82,630 vials
- Option Year Two: 82,630 vials
- Option Year Three: 82,630 vials
- Option Year Four: 82,630 vials.
Offerors must submit a price for the base year and all four option years. Prices must include a Cost Recovery Fee of 0.5%. Each offered drug must have a unique 11-digit National Drug Code (NDC) number associated with the offeror's company. Competition is limited to U.S.-made products.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective upon signing and notification of award, with an implementation period allowing up to 60 calendar days before orders can be placed.

Place of Performance
Products will be delivered to various Department of Veterans Affairs facilities across the United States, including Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center and State Veterans Homes participating in the VA PPV Program.
