Background
The solicitation is issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Department of Defense (DoD) for the acquisition of pharmaceutical products through their respective Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor (PPV) Programs. The purpose is to establish a supply source that will provide drugs listed in the schedule for purchase through the PPV Programs. The contract aims to ensure availability and consistency of products for nationwide usage and to obtain volume-based, committed-use pricing.

Work Details
The contract requires the supply of Gabapentin Tablets in various quantities and packaging configurations. The tablets are required in 600mg and 800mg strengths, with 90 tablets per bottle (Unit of Use) and 500 tablets per bottle. Offerors must submit prices for the base year and all four one-year options for all line items, ensuring that offered prices do not exceed two decimal places. Additionally, offerors must list an 11-digit National Drug Code (NDC) number for each offered drug that is unique to the offeror's company.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective from July 3, 2023, with an Implementation Period and Ordering Period following the Contract Effective Date. The Implementation Period allows a maximum of 60 days for contractors to begin delivery after November 1, 2023. The base year Ordering Period will be in effect for one year.

Place of Performance
The products are to be delivered to various authorized facilities including all VA facilities, all DoD Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor Program participants, Indian Health Service facilities, Bureau of Prisons facilities, Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center, and State Veteran Homes.
