Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to acquire Dipeptidyl-Peptidase 4 (DPP-4) Inhibitors through their Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor (PPV) Program. The PPV Program is a separate contract that establishes the fees for the distribution of pharmaceutical products to VA facilities. This solicitation aims to establish a supply source that will provide the drugs listed in the schedule for purchase through the PPV Program. The contract effective date, implementation period, and ordering period are specified in the solicitation.

Work Details
The specific product to be delivered under the contract is Dipeptidyl-Peptidase 4 (DPP-4) Inhibitors. The solicitation requires offerors to submit a price for line item 1, which includes the base year and four one-year options. The offered prices must include a Cost Recovery Fee of 0.5%. Offerors must list an 11-digit National Drug Code (NDC) number for each offered drug that is unique to their company. If the offeror is a distributor, the NDC number must be unique to the distributor. The schedule of supplies includes quantities, unit prices, and amounts for each option year.

Period of Performance
The contract effective date will be determined when the VA signs the SF-1449 and notifies the offeror of award. The implementation period will begin on the contract effective date and end on January 31, 2024, unless mutually agreed upon otherwise. The base year ordering period will begin after the implementation period and last for one year. Additional option years may be exercised.

Place of Performance
The products will be ordered by VA facilities through their respective PPV contractors and delivered to multiple PPV distribution centers.
