Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to establish a supply source for Diclofenac Sodium (NA) 1% Gel through its Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor (PPV) Programs. The goal of this contract is to ensure the availability and consistency of pharmaceutical products for nationwide usage while obtaining volume-based, committed-use pricing. The contract will be effective upon award notification and will facilitate the distribution of these products through VA and DoD facilities, as well as other authorized users.

Work Details
The contract involves the delivery of Diclofenac NA 1% Gel, Topical, packaged in tubes. The specific requirements include:
- **Line Item 1**: Diclofenac NA 1% Gel, Topical
- **Quantity**: 4,749,159 tubes for each year (Base Year and four Option Years)
- **Packaging**: Each tube contains 100 grams.
- **NDC or UPC Number**: Offerors must provide an 11-digit NDC or UPC number unique to their company.
- **Cost Recovery Fee**: Prices must include a 0.5% Cost Recovery Fee.
- **Sample Requirement**: Offerors must submit one sample (boxed tube) for evaluation.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a base year with four one-year options. The effective date will be established at the time of contract award.

Place of Performance
Products will be delivered to various VA and DoD facilities across the United States through Government Prime Vendor contractors.
