Description

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with format in Subpart 12.6- Streamline Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Item. This solicitation is issued under authority of FAR 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, and the conduct of the procurement will be in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13 or some combination thereof. The solicitation number is 36C25626Q0014 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The proposed contract action is for contingency hazardous compounded services for the G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center, Jackson, Mississippi. The Government intends to solicit competitive quotes. Interested contractors may submit a quote in response to the solicitation. All timely and eligible quotes received prior to the date and time specified in the Contract Opportunities posting will be considered by the Government. The NAICS code is 325412 and the size standard is 1300 Employees. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2025-05 08/07/2025. Background
The G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi, is seeking to procure contingency hazardous compounded services. This solicitation is issued under the authority which allows for simplified procedures for certain commercial items. The goal of this contract is to ensure the provision of compounded hazardous chemotherapy agents necessary for treating Veterans diagnosed with specific medical conditions.

The facility typically serves 10-12 patients daily for chemotherapy infusion, necessitating compliance with FDA regulations and state laws.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide Pharmacy Hazardous Compounding Services, which include:
- All chemotherapy agents, IV tubing, closed system drug-transfer devices, and any other necessary items.
- Compounding must be performed at an FDA 503A compliant facility.
- Orders will be submitted via a secure network or fax and must be confirmed by VA staff.
- Orders must be delivered to the G.V. Montgomery VAMC Inpatient Pharmacy by 11:30 am CST the day after submission.
- All drugs are to be supplied by the contractor, who will invoice based on the amount of medication utilized for each prescription order.
- Compliance with USP 797 and USP 800 standards is required for compounding and labeling.
