Background: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to acquire Adalimumab Pen/Syringe Kits through the Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor (PPV) Program. The PPV Program establishes the fees for the distribution of pharmaceutical products that are distributed through the PPV Programs on Federal Government contracts. The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a supply source that will provide the drugs listed in the schedule for purchase through the PPV Program. The contract will be effective on the date the VA signs the SF-1449 and notifies the offeror (contractor) of award. The Implementation Period, which is a maximum of 60 calendar days, will begin on the Contract Effective Date and end at the start of the Ordering Period. The base year Ordering Period will be in effect for one year, with four one-year options available.

Details: The solicitation is seeking offers for two groups:

Group I (40MG/0.4ML kits) and Group II (40MG/0.8ML kits).

For each group, there are two line items:

Line Item 1 - ADALIMUMAB 40MG/0.4ML INJ,PEN,KIT

Line Item 2 - ADALIMUMAB 40MG/0.4ML INJ,SYRINGE,KIT.

Offerors must submit a price for all line items offered, inclusive of the base year and four option years.

Prices offered shall not exceed two decimal places.

Offered prices must include a Cost Recovery Fee of 0.5%.

Offerors must also list an 11-digit NDC number for each offered drug that is unique to their company.

Period of Performance: The contract will be effective on the date the VA signs the SF-1449 and notifies the offeror (contractor) of award.

The Implementation Period, which is a maximum of 60 calendar days, will begin on the Contract Effective Date and end at the start of the Ordering Period.

The base year Ordering Period will be in effect for one year, with four one-year options available.

Place of Performance: The drugs will be distributed through the Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor (PPV) Program to various facilities/agencies, including all Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) facilities, all Indian Health Service (IHS) facilities, all Bureau of Prisons (BOP) facilities, Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center (FHCC), and all Option 2 State Veteran Homes.
