Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to establish a supply source for Abiraterone Acetate Tablets through its Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor (PPV) Programs. The contract aims to ensure the availability and consistency of pharmaceutical products for nationwide usage while obtaining volume-based pricing.

This solicitation is part of the VA's standardization program, which allows for the acquisition of pharmaceutical requirements through established contracts.

Work Details
The contract involves the supply of Abiraterone Acetate 250mg Tablets, packaged in unit-of-use bottles containing 120 tablets each. The contractor must provide:
- Quantity: 71,997 bottles for each year (Base Year and four Option Years).
- Packaging specifications include a safety-cap that can be converted to a non-safety cap, with specific dimensions for the bottle and label:
- Minimum bottle size: 120cc volume
- Bottle circumference: Minimum of 5.75 inches
- Label dimensions: 5.25 inches x 2 inches
- Each offer must include an 11-digit National Drug Code (NDC) number unique to the offeror's company.
- Prices must include a Cost Recovery Fee of 0.5%.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective upon signing by the authorized representative and will include an implementation period followed by an ordering period consisting of a base year and four option years.

Place of Performance
Products will be delivered to various Department of Veterans Affairs facilities, Department of Defense facilities, Indian Health Service facilities, Bureau of Prisons facilities, and State Veterans Homes.
