This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Responses to this Sources Sought must be in writing. The purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified businesses interested and capable of providing the requested commodities. The NAICS Code is 325412 Pharmaceutical Preparation Manufacturing Size standard is 1,300 employees PSC is 6505 Drugs and Biologicals Responses to this notice shall include the following: (a) company name b) address (c) socio-economic status, (d) point of contact (e) phone, fax, and email (f) SAM UEI number (g) Cage Code (h) Tax ID Number (i) and must provide a capability statement that addresses the organizations qualifications and ability to perform as a contractor and provide the commodities described below. OBJECTIVE: Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 2 South requires daily delivery of radiopharmaceutical (in unit doses and bulk doses), radiopharmaceuticals to perform QC procedures and related supplies and in order to perform a variety of nuclear medicine diagnostic and therapeutic procedures at their VA Medical Centers (VAMC) located at: New York Harbor Health Care System (NYHHCS) at Manhattan New York Harbor Health Care System (NYHHCS) at Brooklyn VA Hudson Valley Health Care System (VAHVHCS) at Castle Point New Jersey Health Care System (NJHCS) at East Orange Northport VAMC Bronx VAMC The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision and transportation necessary to meets the needs of the daily deliveries for the different Department of Nuclear Medicine at the specific VA hospitals/medical centers. The contactor shall have an adequate supply of contract products to meet the requirements of the Department of Nuclear Medicine at VISN 2 South participating hospitals/medical centers. The contractor shall provide on an as needed basis miscellaneous supplies and or services including, but not limited to diagnostic radiopharmaceutical products, therapeutic radiopharmaceutical products, sealed radioactive sources for QC procedures, related products and a copy of the contractor s RSO safety audits for federal compliance. The Government is not obligated to, nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this Sources Sought request. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. Notice to Potential Offerors: All Offerors who provide goods or services to the United States Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM located on the web at www.sam.gov). It is desirable that any Offeror to have completed their business Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). Additionally, all Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses or Veteran Owned Small Businesses who respond to a solicitation on this project must be registered and certified with the Small Business Administration (SBA). Requests for information and resultant responses shall be submitted directly to the contracting officer, Response due no later than 15:00 Eastern Standard Time on January 14, 2026 to Paul Speedling, Contract Specialist at Paul.Speedling@va.gov.
Background

This Sources Sought Announcement serves as market research to inform acquisition decisions and does not obligate the Government to award a contract.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the daily delivery of radiopharmaceuticals, including both unit doses and bulk doses, necessary for quality control (QC) procedures.

The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, and transportation required to meet the needs of the Department of Nuclear Medicine at the following locations:
- New York Harbor Health Care System (NYHHCS) at Manhattan
- New York Harbor Health Care System (NYHHCS) at Brooklyn
- VA Hudson Valley Health Care System (VAHVHCS) at Castle Point
- New Jersey Health Care System (NJHCS) at East Orange
- Northport VAMC
- Bronx VAMC

Additionally, the contractor shall maintain an adequate supply of diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceutical products, sealed radioactive sources for QC procedures, and miscellaneous supplies or services as needed.

A copy of the contractor's Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) safety audits for federal compliance must also be provided.
