Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to procure the 2026-2027 Influenza Virus Vaccine as part of its mission to provide healthcare services to veterans. The goal of this contract is to ensure the availability and distribution of the influenza vaccines to various government agencies, including the VA, Bureau of Prisons (BOP), Indian Health Service (IHS), and State Veteran Homes, within a specified delivery timeframe and at committed prices.

Work Details
The contract involves the delivery of pre-filled single-dose syringes containing either Quadrivalent or Trivalent Influenza Virus Vaccines for the 2026-2027 season. The vaccines must be latex and preservative-free, with an expiration date no earlier than May 31, 2027. The specific presentations required include:

1. **For persons ≥ 36 months**:
- Pre-filled single-dose syringes with plunger and Luer lock needle attachment.
- Quantity: 120,000 boxes (10 syringes per box).

2. **For persons 65 years and older**:
- Pre-filled single-dose syringes with plunger and Luer lock needle attachment.
- Quantity: 120,000 boxes (10 syringes per box).

3. **Pediatric vaccine for children aged 6 months - 35 months**:
- Must be a split virus vaccine that has been FDA approved.
- Quantity: 1,000 boxes (10 syringes per box).

Delivery will be made in two shipments:
- First shipment must be at least 50% of each facility's ordered quantity between August 15, 2026, and September 15, 2026.
- Second shipment must cover the remaining quantity between September 16, 2026, and October 15, 2026.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective from the award date through March 14, 2027.

Place of Performance
Delivery will be made to various VA Healthcare Facilities and State Veteran Homes across the United States.
