Illumina Reagents and Consumables

Background
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is seeking to procure Illumina brand name reagents and consumables for use in the operation of NIH-owned and leased Illumina sequencing and genotyping systems. The goal of this procurement is to ensure that the NIH community has access to necessary materials that support the efficient operation of a total of 201 sequencing and genotyping systems, which include various models such as NovaSeq X Plus, NovaSeq 6000, NextSeq 1000/2000, MiSeq, MiniSeq, iSeq 100, and iScan. The NIH requires these reagents and consumables to keep their systems operational and to adapt to ongoing advancements in chemical and technical methodologies.

Work Details
The contractor shall supply a variety of Illumina reagents and consumables on an as-needed basis. The specific items include:
- Library Preparation Kits
- Enrichment Kits
- Sequencing Kits
- Custom Oligo Pools
- Standard Oligo Pools
- Reagent Kits
- Arrays
- Custom Arrays
- Flow Cells and accessories.

All products must be compatible with Illumina systems and meet performance standards. Key specifications include:
- Sequencing reagents must produce up to 300 Mb on small-scale sequencers and up to 16,000 Gb on high-throughput sequencers per run.
- Library preparation reagents must support various applications including RNA-Seq, single-cell RNA-Seq, whole genome sequencing, ChIP-Seq, ATAC-Seq, Hi-C, whole exome sequencing, miRNA analysis, custom DNA/RNA enrichment panels, amplicons, targeted capture, and long-read whole genome sequencing.
- Must have a minimum of 384 unique dual index adapters for PCR-free and RNA-Seq libraries.
- Compatible with low input samples (≤25 ng) and formalin-fixed paraffin embedded (FFPE) damaged nucleic acids.
- Simple protocols that can be completed in 1-2 days with preparation time for loading libraries onto sequencers being less than one day.
- Sequencing reagents should include RFID verification for compatibility checks.
