iFOB (Immuno Fecal Occult Blood) Cost Per Test and Instrumentation

This is a notice of contract action (NOCA). This is not a solicitation for quotes. The purpose of this NOCA is to notify industry of the VA s intended contract action identify potential sources and their size and socioeconomic classifications. Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8 West Palm Beach intends to issue a sole source, firm fixed price contract under FAR Part 6.302, Circumstances Permitting Other Than Full and Open Competition, FAR part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, FAR part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Polymedco Cancer Diagnostic Products LLC to obtain instrumentation for cost per test services inclusive of all reagents and expendable supplies necessary to perform automated testing for occult blood in stool specimens using immunochemistry technology. The contract action is anticipated to be for a base year plus four option years with an estimated value of approximately $351,000. Vendors who believe they can meet the requirements should submit a capability statement, providing clear and convincing evidence documenting their ability to provide the requirements of this acquisition. All information shall be in writing, containing sufficient detail to allow the government to evaluate and determine if it can meet their needs. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this NOCA or any follow-up information requests.
