The purpose of Amendment #1 is to attached Floor Plan, Install Room locations, and answer questions. Vendor to work with COR for install into actual room numbers on referenced floors 8.2 xiv, xvii, xviii is removed- see XLS and revised SOW attachment Vendor to install in rooms the next 57 Cat6 Cables from bed port to closet, bracket, mounts, wired movable cameras on floor 2D and in CLC is removed- see attached XLS and SOW. Updated Section 4.2- 12. See amended RFQ and revised SOW. How many nurse stations? At least (1) 40 monitoring workstation, cable drops, and install. The only POC for this solicitation is Stephanie Henderson. Please ensure to revise SOW and respond to RFQ with required documentation by RFQ closing date/time.

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing a firm fixed price procurement for a Patient Audio-Visual Tele Sitter System to be installed at the Washington DC VA Medical Center. The goal of this contract is to reduce nurse assistant shortages, decrease patient fall rates, and enhance patient and family satisfaction through a real-time video monitoring solution.

This system will consist of mobile and portable cameras that provide audio and video feeds back to nurse stations, allowing for the monitoring of up to 40 patients simultaneously.

Work Details
The procurement includes all new parts, equipment materials, labor, Software as a Service (SAAS), Base Access Authorization (BAA) approval, Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), base software/licenses, resources, supervision, authorized installers, network cables, drawings, brackets, ports, switches, and phased installation with up to 2 option periods.

The system will consist of:
- 15 portable (movable) cameras/controllers
- 8 mobile (wheeled) cameras/controllers
- In-person staff training required for implementation
- Manuals and maintenance schedules for the equipment/system. All equipment must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is up to one year after award with options for additional periods.
